- Advanced one day course for butlers and housekeepers
- Basic two day butler, housekeeping and valet course
- Management of a Household or other establishment – one day course
All courses will take place at The London Academy, 51 Whistlers Avenue, Morgans Walk, London SW11 3TS. This is just over Battersea Bridge and can be easily reached from Clapham Junction and Victoria Station on 170 bus/and from other destinations in London on 49/319/19/345 buses.
On One day courses, light lunch is provided and on half day courses, afternoon tea or coffees are served.
Course fees
£250 per day course +VAT
Full fees are paid on booking of a course and are fully refundable up to ten days prior to the course date.
Bespoke Courses
Special courses can be arranged for staff within the clients home or offices – these are tailor made to meet individual training needs and one day will cost £950 for up to five staff in UK and half a day will cost £500 within UK – Individuals can also have special courses arranged for them with prices to be discussed We also offer the services of a professional nanny tutor who is available to come in to advise pregnant mothers on setting up the nursery and the demands of the new born baby but also to work with nannies who need to refine their skills perhaps from nursery school to the private household
Schools
We offer a wide range of bite size seminars for schools – how to deal with different social situations and different types of people, the correct forms of address and protocol, selling yourself and feeling confident out in the world at large (this neatly fits into “citizenship, general studies and tutorial work).
The Diploma Course
The Diploma is a two day residential course for highly experienced staff who have worked in private service and have studied other London Academy courses. It takes place in a country house with guests invited for a black tie dinner and who stay overnight. Students who gain a Diploma validate their professionalism and gain the highest accolade within private service. Only those considered at the appropriate level may apply.
