The next London Academy courses will run in March:
Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th March - Two day Butler and Housekeeper Course, concentrating on the core skills needed in private service, to include the general organisation of a household, basic cleaning and laundry, the dining room and service of food and wines, clothes and care of the wardrobe.
Wednesday 14th March - Advanced day for Butlers and Housekeepers, finessing the skills already learnt to ensure that students have the confidence to work at a top level in the workplace. Specialist tutors train separate groups, and butlers put skills into practice at a small dinner party in the evening.
Thursday 15th March - Management of a Private Household or establishment (suitable for yachts, villas and chalets). Intended to equip staff with all the skills to ensure that their establishment or team runs smoothly with maximum efficiency and minimum fuss. Covers communication, accountability, stress management, employing and keeping staff. Interactive, group discussions and group work on case studies.
